The Forest Department offers three different safari packages among which the Elephant Safari is probably the most exciting one. The package puts the participants/visitors on the elephant’s back and then the elephant moves through the densest part of the forest. Certainly, no other safari package takes the visitors to the most thrilling parts of the forest where the chances of viewing the Big Cat are maximum. There is hardly any doubt in the fact that it is the most exciting as well as the most dangerous safari package where the chances of an accident are often high! However, Corbett National Park is safe as far as accidents are concerned!

Jim Corbett Travels wishes to inform all the visitors that the Forest Department completes all the formalities when it comes to Jim Corbett safari package bookings. The officials at the Forest Department work hard to complete all the formalities before confirming the booking. However, the visitors need to follow some terms and conditions for the elephant safari package! Here are a few:
- Advance booking for this package is not available. The visitors need to book the package right at the time of visit.
- The booking depends on the availability of the elephants and also on the weather conditions.
- The officials look for the name, age, gender, and government ID proof of every rider.
- The visitors would be required to take care of their luggage and other possessions while enjoying the ride.
- As per the standing rules, elephant safari packages are not refundable and not transferable.
- Visitors must communicate with the Forest Department officials at Ramnagar for permits and other technical assistance!
